Reza a lenda que por trás da construção espiritual do Brasil, seus primeiros habitantes seriam descendentes dos povos Atlantes, após a ilha submergir a um cataclisma mundial. No entanto por uma estreita faixa de terra chegaram até nós originando a nação Tupy, há 18 milhões de anos. Mas a mitologia nos dá conta de que,  em uma época remota, Salomão tenha decretado a uma expedição de sua tribo, viajar a Ofir, segundo a Bíblia, em busca de ouro.

Uma corrente de historiadores acredita na denominação Solimões, ser uma corruptela da palavra Salomão ou Solima na escrita hebráica, cujos descendentes teriam navegado com os fenícios na região, em busca das minas preciosas para erigir um templo. E os vestígios estariam nas inscrições rupestres existentes no “rio sagrado dos aroaquis”. Já nossos antepassados descreviam que a partir da ponte, foi erguido um portal secreto de purificação para entrar na cidade, partindo do Sitio Arqueológico da Província das Caretas. É… A hipótese tem razão de ser, pois o Solimões, depois Madeira, vem desaguar na foz do município, como rio dourado da região.

Historicamente no Madeira habitavam os Iruri, grupo do tronco Tupy, segundo Francisco Gomes da Silva. É, na definição clássica de Ana Roosevelt, um ‘cacicado complexo’, visto que lideravam cinco nações em seu entorno, em que estes indígenas eram vassalos. Mas seu líder, Mamorini, foi um autêntico diplomata. Ali, no dia 8 de setembro, de 1683 sob a invocação do jesuíta Jódoco Perez e tendo como testemunha a constelação do Cruzeiro do Sul nascia, sob as bênção de Nossa Senhora da Luz, uma cidade mágica…  Ao som das membitararás a celebração foi até altas horas.

Assim como no Madeira, na região dos lagos – Distrito do Arari -, sempre foram avistadas caboclas arroxeadas: olhos castanhos, cabelos negros e longos, de tez macia e rosácea, compondo o cenário multicor da Natureza. Talvez a soma da diversidade genética na formação do povo, tenha resultado tal equação: um sangue alcalino interétnico e um verniz multicultural, já que esse chão sempre foi cosmopolita. Professar a religiosidade, programar a mudança e a defesa do ambiente é algo divino. Porém a beleza também é obra da Criação. Como na oração do Pai-Nosso, tudo está interligado assim na terra como no céu.

A contemplação constante do rio, com o banzeiro chegando devagarzinho a margem, onde a menina, mais sensível que o menino, escuta o marulho da água e, no silêncio da meditação faz, sob a refrescância divinal da brisa, o ser mais humano. Vladimir Mayakovsky, poeta russo, vai além ao afirmar que em algum lugar, parece que no Brasil, existe um homem feliz. Sem dúvidas  herdamos o biótipo atual e adquirimos determinados sentimentos sob os efeitos da interferência ambiental. E essa relação diária com o rio nos mantem mais felizes. A prática é que torna  o caminho sagrado…

As colunistas apontam que não foram poucas as filhas de Eva que fizeram esse exercício para sofrer transmutação positiva em suas vidas, para bem representar o principado. Mas algumas cunhantãs se valiam da própria Bíblia, livro sagrado dos cristãos, exercitando a humildade, praticando aquela passagem que diz que o coração alegre aformoseia o rosto (Provérbios 15:13-33). Que o diga o quadrilátero da beleza que, em uma pequena faixa de duas quadras contíguas, compreendendo as ruas Nossa Senhora do Rosário-Isaac Péres e Avenida Cel. Antônio Serudo Martins-Rua Manaus, no perímetro urbano da sede do município, elegeu e enviou quatro moças para participar do concurso de beleza estadual, em Manaus.

Bem representaram o Principado de Serpa, no imaginário Estado de Itacoatiara, as misses Célia Regina Lima-Maria Hermelinda Menezes,  Isa Freitas-Cinamor de Oliveira Repolho e, ainda, Fátima Péres. Todavia conforme dona Fátima Silva, algumas famílias de sangue azul do município,  não quiseram bancar a Miss Cinamor de Oliveira para nos representar na disputa do título estadual, simplesmente por preconceito em ser uma moça simples de nossa terra. Mas a História registra o fato de ela ter defendido com dignidade o período de seu reinado. Atualmente os concursos tem um corpo de jurado, mas o público também vota.

Na Colômbia, segundo Alejandra Cubillos Fonseca, universitária, cursando o 2º semestre do CEL – Centro de Estudos de Línguas -, existe a Academia de Modelagem de Caracas, onde, em cada Departamento(Estado) é aberta uma franquia para ensinar las ninas desde a tenra idade, na qual aprendem a se maquiar, comportar-se em público e a posar para fotografias. Para nossas hermanas beleza é fundamental. Mas o fazem com tanta dedicação que parece mais uma linha de produção, com direito a registro made in, tudo para alcançar o estrelato com um padrão estético de chegar aos 90cm de busto e de quadris e  60cm de cintura. E levar o país ao top do mundo da beleza universal.

Já a venezuelana Nelisa Salazar Sandoval,  estudante de Língua Inglesa da UFAM – Universidade Federal do Amazonas, radicada em Manaus, afirma que as garotas são preparadas na Escola de Beleza Gisselle Reyes, dos quatro aos vinte e quatro anos.  O último estágio é a pos-graduação  quando, como ensina a própria ex-miss Gisselle Reyes, podem frequentar a mansão da Quinta Miss Venezuela, finalizando o curso de oratória, passarela e Língua Inglesa;  são ensinadas, também,  a terem postura social, etiqueta, recebem noções sobre cultura e história, desenvolvendo atitudes de liderança para representar sua aldeia, perante o mundo.

Inúmeros países da América do Sul concedem bolsas de estudos e enviam suas representantes  para estudarem lá. Afinal a Venezuela  emplacou 7 Miss Universo, 6 títulos de Miss Mundo e 6 de Miss Internacional. Especialistas  asseguram que um dos pré-requisitos é aceitar e digerir as críticas. Para Melissa Fonseca da Silva, oceanógrafa,  graduada pela UFPA e, atualmente, fazendo um Curso de Verão(UFAM), a formosura não é tudo, mas apenas um ítem no contexto. Beleza é uma construção cotidiana, diz.

Aqui não existem academias ou escolas voltadas para tal segmento.  Mas na América Amazônica intuitivamente os braços compridos são conformados nos nados sincronizados dos igarapés;  coxas, quadris e busto são torneados nas pedaladas das antigas magrelas – bicicletas Monark -, para chegar as medidas ideais. Sobre o uso de maquiagem, filam das mães e treinam nas colegas das escolas públicas, mas tal matéria está fora do currículo escolar. São consideradas formadas aquelas que já têm “alegria nas pernas”, demonstrando o domínio total do trançapé, quando já desfilam  com desenvoltura na nossa Avenue des Champs-Élisées. As passarelas são reais e os espectadores, também.

Com total falta de estrutura e apoio, o Brasil chegou ao Miss Universo somente duas vezes. Em 1963, com a eleição da gaúcha Yeda Maria Vargas e, em 1968, com a escolha da baiana Martha Vasconcellos. Porém em 1957, a amazonense de São Paulo de Olivença, Terezinha Gonçalves Morango, ficou em 2º lugar, perdendo o título por apenas 2cm para a peruana Gladys Zender. Alguns jornalistas afirmam que ela  era uma simpatia de menina; outros críticos dizem que ela tinha as coxas muito grossas. Com grande beleza física, polidez e carisma refinado, conquistou o público.

Neste ano uma garota  nascida no Bairro da Colônia desafiou a leveza  do ar.  Entrou para concorrer  como cunhã-poranga no Boi Garantido, para apresentar-se no Festival Folclórico de Parintins,  mas foi logo eleita pelo voto popular como Miss Brasil 2018. Ela representava uma ameaça  a reserva de mercado local. É jornalista profissional, tem 26 anos, 1.76m de altura, pesando 56kg, cabelos longos e olhos castanhos, encarnando o mito das guerreiras Amazonas que, em Nhamundá, enfrentaram a expedição do espanhol Francisco Orellana quando desceu o Rio Amazonas em direção a foz. Pertenciam a uma sociedade matriarcal e eram hábeis no manuseio do arco e flecha na resolução de problemas.

Pragmática como toda itacoatiarense, Mayra Benita Alves Dias, não desistiu de lutar pelos seus sonhos, enfrentou as dificuldades que foram transformadas em verdadeiras escadas para alçar vôos mais altos, obtendo os louros da vitória. Segundo a presidente e CEO do Miss Universe Organization, Paula Shugart, o concurso vai ocorrer no dia 19 de dezembro, em Bangkok, Taylandia e ela é a representante da nação tupyniquim, levando uma mensagem dos povos da região para o mundo. Menina que humilde e fenomenal, levanta nossa auto-estima.

O gesto que faz unindo as palmas das mãos e inclinando levemente a cabeça é uma saudação tibetana – ver o gesto dos garotos dos Javalis Selvagens agradecendo -, usadas pelos monges budistas e quer dizer o Deus que habita em mim saúda seu Deus interior. Sem dúvidas que os poetas da terra vão cantar em verso e prosa quando estiver exercitando aquele jogo de braços e pernas na passarela,  mentalizando o emergir de uma deusa aflorando das águas negras no Caribe amazônico, em Maués, pisando levemente a areia alva e fina dos Saterê,  irão compor um hino a beleza como bem exalta Benito de Paula: mulher brasileira em 1º lugar.

Continuando a viagem onírica na passagem pela Praia da Maresia, sob os olhares de uma roda de samba composta por Alírio Marques, Francisco Calheiros, Ney Libório, Domingos, Natinho & Banda Mureru, os compositores da Cidade da Pedra Pintada, inspiradíssimos e em autoria de condomínio, farão uma homenagem para a Garota da Amazônia, parafraseando o maestro soberano e Brasileiro de nome que, em Tom Maior, cantou para Helô Pinheiro, mais  ou menos assim, ó: … Que coisa mais línd(i)a, meu Deus!!!.

Como último apelo uma comissão, liderada pela espécie Brosimum rubescens,  rainha das árvores brasileiras, madeira mais vermelha que o pau-brasil e utilizada na construção de instrumentos musicais, representando a floresta amazônica agradece em nheengatu pela defesa da região. Temos confiança de que sua conquista, como a 2ª amazonense a obter o  título de Miss Brasil, vai  entrar para a História ou, pelo menos, constará nas páginas da antologia municipal Homens, Mulheres e Coisas de Itacoatiara, de Francisco Gomes da Silva, escritor e historiador, membro da Academia Amazonense de Letras.

According to the legend, behind the spiritual construction of Brazil, its first inhabitants would be descendants of the Atlantean peoples, after the island submerged to a world cataclysm. However, by a narrow strip of land they came to us originating the Tupy nation, for about 18 million years ago. But mythology tells us that in a remote time, Solomon decreed an expedition of his tribe to travel to Ophir, according to the Bible, in seek of gold.

A group of historians believes that the name Solimões is a corruption of the word Solomon or Solima in the Hebrew writing, whose descendants would have sailed with the Phoenicians in the region, in search of the precious mines to erect a temple. And the signs would be in the rock inscriptions existing in the “sacred river of the aroaquis”. But our ancestors used to describe that from the bridge, it was erected a secret vestibule of purification to enter the city, starting from the Archaeological Site of the Province of Caretas. It’s … The hypothesis is right, because the Solimões, then Madeira, flows into the mouth of the municipality, as the region’s golden river.

Historically in Madeira used to live the Iruri, they are from theTupyfamily group, according to Francisco Gomes da Silva. It is, in the classic definition of Ana Roosevelt, a ‘complex cacique’, since they led five nations in their surroundings, in which these natives were vassals. Professing religiosity, scheduling change, and defending the environment is divine. But beauty is also the work of Creation. As in the Lord’s Prayer, everything is interconnected on earth as it is in heaven.

The constant contemplation of the river, with soft waves slowly reaching the shore, where the girl, more sensitive than the boy, hears the sound of water and, in the silence of meditation, makes the human being more divine under the divine refreshing of the breeze. Vladimir Mayakovsky, a Russian poet, goes even further by stating that somewhere, it seems that in Brazil, there is a happy man. Without a doubt we inherit the current biotype and acquire certain feelings under the effects of environmental interference. And that daily relationship with the river keeps us happier. The practice makes the path sacred …

Columnists point out that not a few Eva’s daughters who did this exercise of suffering positive transmutation in their lives, to well represent the principality. For our hermanas beauty is fundamental. But they do it with such dedication that it looks like a production line, with the right to register made in, everything to achieve an aesthetic standard of reaching 90cm of bust and hips and 60cm of waist, taking the country to the top of the world of universal beauty.

But a Venezuelan namedNelisa Salazar Sandoval, an English Language student at UFAM – Federal University of Amazonas, based in Manaus, says that girls are prepared at the Gisselle Reyes Beauty School, from four to twenty-four-years-old. The last stage is post-graduation when, as the former Miss Gisselle Reyes teaches, they can attend the mansion of the Fifth Miss Venezuela, finishing the course of oratory, catwalk and English Language; they are also taught to have social posture, etiquette, receive notions about culture and history, developing leadership attitudes to represent their village, before the world.

Numerous countries in South America grant scholarships and send their representatives to study there. After all, Venezuela has won 7 Miss Universe titles, 6 Miss World titles and 6 Miss International titles. Experts assert that one of the prerequisites is to accept and digest criticism. For Melissa Fonseca da Silva, an oceanographer, graduated from UFPA and currently doing a Summer Course (UFAM), beauty is not everything, but only an item in context. Beauty is in a daily construction, she affirms…

There are no academies or schools linked to this type segment here. But in Amazonian America intuitively the long arms are conformed in the synchronized swimming of the igarapés; thighs, breasts and bust are turned on the pedals of the old skinny – Monark bikes -, to arrive at the ideal measures. On the use of makeup, filaments of mothers and train in the colleagues of the public schools, but such matter is outside the school curriculum. They belonged to a matriarchal society and were adept at handling the bow and arrow in solving problems.

Pragmatic as every local from Itacoatiara, Mayra Benita Alves Dias, did not give up fighting for her dreams, faced the difficulties that were transformed into real stairs to raise higher flights, obtaining the laurels of victory. According to the president and CEO of the Miss Universe Organization, Paula Shugart, the contest will take place on December 19 in Bangkok, Thailand and she is the representant of the Tupyniquim nation, taking a message from the people of the region to the world. Girl who humble and phenomenal, raises our self-esteem.

The gesture that unites the palms of the hands and slightly tilting the head is a Tibetan salutation – to see the gesture of the Feral Wild Boars grateful -, used by the Buddhist monks and means the God that inhabits in me salutes its inner God. Doubtless the poets of the earth will sing in verse and prose when you are exercising that game of arms and legs on the catwalk, mentalizing the emergence of a goddess rising from the black waters in the Amazonian Caribbean in Maués, treading lightly on the fine white sand of Saterê, will compose a hymn to beauty as well exalts Benito de Paula: Brazilian woman in 1st place.
